When fat-loss peptides don’t work—and why that matters

The scenario
A patient comes in frustrated. They’ve tried a peptide protocol—or even a GLP-1—and results stalled or never showed up.

What many clinics do
Increase the dose. Add another peptide. Push harder.

What we see clinically
When peptides don’t work, it’s rarely because the peptide “failed.”
More often, the body is receiving
competing signals:

  • High cortisol
  • Poor sleep
  • Under-fueling
  • Over-training
  • Hormonal suppression

Our perspective
Peptides amplify existing signals. If the signal environment is wrong, amplification doesn’t help. This is why we often pause, reassess, or simplify, rather than stack endlessly.

Why this matters
Good medicine isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing what fits the physiology in front of you.
